Are you a patient? This notice does not cover your health information. The privacy notice of the pharmacy, practice or clinic caring for you explains how it is used.

01About this notice

This notice explains how Saha Care Ltd uses personal data about:

  • people who visit Saha's platform pages;
  • people who contact us, book a discovery call or try the demo;
  • the staff of pharmacies, practices and clinics that are considering or using Saha.

It does not cover patients. If you are a patient, see the privacy notice of the pharmacy, practice or clinic that is caring for you.

02Who we are

Saha Care Ltd (company number 16807502) decides how the personal data described in this notice is used. ICO registered (ZC113895). For anything about your data, email support@saha.co.uk.

03What we collect

  • Contact details — your name, work email and phone number.
  • Your organisation — its name, type, and your role in it.
  • What you tell us — your enquiry, and notes from calls and demos.
  • Onboarding information — for organisations joining Saha, the registration details we check against the public registers, for the organisation and the people who will use the platform.
  • How you use the website — pages visited and device information, collected through cookies only where you allow it.

04Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To answer your enquiry and arrange calls or demos — our legitimate interest in responding to organisations that contact us.
  • To onboard your organisation and run its agreement — to take steps you ask for before an agreement, and to perform it.
  • To check registrations — our legitimate interest, and our obligations, in making sure only registered organisations and professionals go live.
  • To keep the platform secure — our legitimate interest in protecting the platform and the people who use it.
  • To tell business contacts about Saha — our legitimate interest. You can opt out at any time.
  • Analytics cookies — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

05Patient data on the platform

Organisations use Saha to care for their patients, so patient data passes through the platform. Identifiable patient data is not used to train AI models, and card details are never typed into chat.

How patient data is used is explained to patients in the privacy notice of the organisation caring for them.

06Who we share it with

  • Service providers that host and run the platform and send its email, under contract and our instructions.
  • Stripe, where a payment or identity check is involved.
  • Our professional advisers, where needed.
  • Regulators, law enforcement or courts, where the law requires it.

07Where it is stored

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we use the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

08How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, and then delete or anonymise it.

09Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to move it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email support@saha.co.uk to use any of them.

If you are unhappy with how we have used your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.

10Cookies

Necessary cookies make the website work and are always on. Analytics cookies help us understand how the website is used, and are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner. Your choice is remembered for six months. Stripe sets cookies on pages that take a payment, for processing and fraud prevention.

Our analytics include Google Analytics, a service provided by Google. It runs only on our public pages, receives page addresses without any search terms or reference numbers, and has Google signals and advertising features switched off. Its cookies are named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the website working.

11Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when how we use personal data changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
